Cross-TIC events: presentations in November

Our creative Cross-TIC makers are constantly developing cool concepts. For Jonathan, Matthias, and Stefan, this month is finally time for them to present the projects they’ve worked so hard on. We list the events where our creators are presenting this month for you:

November 9: Van Haag tot Wal Festival

Matthias den Hartog and Stefan Leenheer started their Cross-TIC project “Confessing to an AI priest” some time ago. On Saturday, Nov. 9, this project can be seen during the Van Haag tot Wal festival!

From 14:00 to 16:30 you can admire their project in the Grote Kerk on the Oude Markt. Their project raises questions about our relationship with AI and the human need for connection, while Matthias and Stefan explore the possibilities and risks of this technology.

Where? Grote Kerk, Oude Markt 32, 7511 GB Enschede
What time? 14:00 to 16:30

November 21: Night at the Museum

We’ve introduced Jonathan Doorduin and his project on Greedy Henry on our social media a few weeks ago. During Night at the Museum, his interactive film, which comments on the (fast) fashion industry and takes a critical look at the history of textile production, will be screened. In addition to Jonathan’s project, there is much more to experience in the technology museum that evening, so stop by and experience the museum in a totally different way!

Where? Oyfo Techniekmuseum, Hazemeijerstraat 300, 7555 RJ Hengelo
What time? 20:00 to 23:00
