On Tuesday, December 10, it’s time for Cross-TIC ONTPOPT: a Cross-TIC Showcase! During this showcase, which is free and open to everyone, some makers will tell about all the ups and downs of their trajectory. This time it will take place in the Schouwburg Hengelo. During the showcase, you will take a step into their Wunderkammers and experience their stories. It is an exclusive chance to crawl into the head of our makers and follow their thought process. So don’t miss this!
The following makers are presenting during ONTPOPT:
- Amit Palgi & Matteo Traverso use biometric data from dancer Amit to sound and visualize movement in silence.
- Lökin translates their sexual experiences into audiovisual elements.
- Jonathan Doorduin‘s short film about a mythical story is an indictment of overconsumption within the (fast) fashion industry and offers a critical look at the history of textile production.
- Matthias den Hartog & Thijs Steggink‘s interactive installation “Arcadans” invites children to program a sequence using simple visual and tactile means.
- Pleun Gremmen, Sophie Allerding & Noemy Biro‘s installation allows children and young adults to meet themselves as someone else.
- Stijn Bolhuis creates an installation that fuses the awareness of your physical self and your virtual self to mimic “body denial” within a short period of time.
